When creating a user account in Syteline 8.03.11 you receive the error message:
Error Message does not exist. Object: Profiles_UX, Type:17
You start the SL client and navigate to the Users form. You can create a new user account and populate the appropriate account information, however when you click on the Save button you receive the error message shown below.
To correct this problem we’ll need to start the SQL Server Management Studio and expand the Databases tab. Locate the appropriate App database and expand it. Then under Tables locate the dbo.UserNames table, and expand the Triggers section. This is where the culprit – BDC_SL8_SyncUsers trigger is located.
Per Infor technical support, this is a trigger that is used to synchronize user account information between Syteline and BuyDesign module.
Right click on the trigger in question, and select Disable.
Now that the trigger has been successfully disabled, if you go back to the Users form and recreate the user account you will be able to save it without receiving the error message.
