A customer was using TDCI’s BuyDesign ChannelSales 8.0 product. They had multiple instances of ChannelSales configured on an application server. Even though the application front end runs on this application ChannelSales uses a database as well on a back end SQL server.
When performing various tasks in Infor SyteLine (such as creating a Job Order) you receive an error message “The definition of object ‘ApsSyncBomPrtSp’ has changed since it was compiled”.
Problem I ran across was that users were unable to view reports in SyteLine. Simultaneously various Timeout error messages started appearing when users attempt to perform random actions in the system such as create a new item or create an order.
When running TDCI’s BuyDesign Design Studio version 8.0 you select the appropriate instance and application, then receive the error message shown below.
Infor SyteLine creates a .pdf file every time any user runs a report. By default these files are saved on the Utility server in the SyteLine file share (actual path is C:\Program Files (x86)\Infor\SyteLine\Report\OutputFiles). The amount of space these files take can grow quite quickly and it Infor recommends purging of old (stale) reports on a regular basis.
